Introducing Our New Head Coach for the HS Girls’ Team
Chassey, Lettie, and Reed Dillard
We are pleased to announce that the new Signal Mountain Middle High School girls lacrosse Head Coach is Reed Dillard. Reed comes from a strong lacrosse background including playing, coaching, and officiating girls lacrosse.
Reed grew up in Hendersonville, TN and played high school lacrosse. He came to Chattanooga in 2007 to attend UTC and played on the mens‘ club team. He started his teaching career at Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy where he founded their first competitive athletic team. He then led the middle school program at GPS where he coached until 2022.
During his time as a coach he has traveled with summer and fall teams at all age levels and also served as an official in the Chattanooga area during the 2019 season. He currently works at the district level for Hamilton County Schools and lives in Red Bank with his wife Chassey and (soon-to-be) 17-month-old daughter, Lettie.
